Tishman International Companies – an experienced and trusted international developer

Tishman International Companies is headquartered in Los Angeles, California with European offices in London, England and Sofia, Bulgaria. The company is active in the United States and Europe in the acquisition, development, management of commercial real estate assets. In addition, Tishman acts as a consultant and joint venture partner to some of the world’s leading institutional and private investors.

Tishman has built, developed and managed over 3,5 million square meters of assets, including some of the most prestigious real estate projects in the US, such as:

• The City, in Orange, California, a mixed-use office, residential and shopping center complex consisting of 400 apartments, more than 100,000 square meters of office space, and The City Shopping Center, are tail development of 100,000 square meters.
• Arco Plaza, Los Angeles, a mixed-use Office and Retail scheme of 250,000 square meters with a three-level shopping plaza.
• Columbia Seafirst Centre, a retail and mixed-use development in Seattle of 150,000 square meters and 4 levels of retail shops.
• Security Pacific Bank H/Q in Los Angeles, a 150,000 square meter office and retail property.

The European office of Tishman International, located in London, was established in 1986 to undertake property and facilities management on behalf of mainly US clients. In March of 2006, in partnership with a large UK investment fund, Tishman International in Europe acquired the 52,000 square meter Plantation House office building in the City of London. This acquisition is one of the largest single building acquisitions ever in the City of London. In addition, Tishman International’s European operation has acquired or developed several other properties in the UK, including:

• Acquisition of a prime site in London to provide a 10,000 square meters headquarters building for Fidelity Investments.
• Refurbishment of the 20,000 square meters Sunlight House in Manchester
• Redevelopment of Hayes Park Office Centre near Heathrow Airport, providing 20,000 square meters of modern office accommodation.

Tishman International’s Bulgarian office, officially Tishman Management Company, EOOD opened in Sofia in 2005. The Sofia office was opened by Tishman International in recognition of the high potential for commercial and residential real estate investment in Bulgaria and the surrounding region. Its initial acquisition was the TNT building, which is now the Bulgarian headquarters of TNT International, a worldwide courier company.

The Tishman International team in Bulgaria includes professionals with international experience in all areas of real estate investment, development, and management. Among other projects, it is currently managing the development of the Sofia Airport Center, which has been designated by the Bulgarian government as a First Class Investment project. Tishman International’s Sofia office is also undertaking property and asset management of real estate projects for outside clients.
